Michi's intense speed workouts

The 28th Annual St. Patrick's Day 5K race took place at Acacia Park in downtown Colorado Springs this morning. Nearly 2,400 runners took part in the traditional road race which proceeds the St. Patrick's Day parade.
Michael Weiss joined a very strong men's field and represented his local sponsors SRM and Boulder Running Company.
Michael ran with the lead group and finished in 3rd place with a time of 15:20 minutes.. The race winner was Justin Chaston (15:07), the UK Olympian, whom Weiss raced earlier in the season and in second place was U.S. Army athlete, Augustus Maiuo (15:10).

Michi was thrilled with his performance and is confident that these intense speed workouts will benefit him in the upcoming triathlon season.
